I charge $0.05 per word for copy editing, with a minimum of $50 per project. Due to their complexity, endnotes and biographies are billed at an hourly rate of $50.

Proofreading is the final step before publishing your content. It is a less in-depth review than copy editing but serves as a crucial last check for errors or inconsistencies. My proofreading process includes checking spelling and grammar, capitalization, punctuation, hyphenation, spacing, formatting, consistency, and flow. I charge $0.03 per word for proofreading, with a minimum of $30 per project. Due to their complexity, endnotes and biographies are billed at an hourly rate of $50.
Both copy editing and proofreading services include one full pass, with additional passes available for three-quarters of the cost of the first pass.
